ABOUT LORI COOPER

Lori Cooper is a published writer and the daughter of a late Columbus, Ohio Police Officer shot in the line of duty at the age of 29, and whose perpetrator eluded authorities for 44 years until her own search resulted in his apprehension. The perpetrator was the ringleader of a trio of career burglars who committed home invasions before such crimes had ever taken-on the term. The wife of one of these criminals often served as their getaway driver.

Lori's story, featured by hundreds of news organizations, catapulted her to success as an expert advocate for justice for her late Dad and the victims that night, whom the police never went back to see, and for those victims who are voiceless. She now writes for law enforcement media groups and is a highly-acclaimed guest on national media programs. An Ohio University Comprehensive Social Sciences Major, with a focus on Government Policy, Political Science, and Political and Social Philosophy, Lori is writing a book about her story, tentatively titled THE SOUND OF SILENCE. She is also working with her Senator to enact legislation in her late father's name and for all victims who have lived in the sound of silence. She is a vast victims' rights advocate.
